Performers College Juniors is an established and successful Performing Arts School in Corringham, Essex for children ages 3-18 years. It was founded in 2003, by Susan Stephens, Brian Rogers, Mike Stephens & Jan Rogers, who also founded Performers College. Performers College Juniors is located in the Performers College premises and is now managed by Aimee Dwight and owned by the BIMM group.
The students that attend Performers College Juniors are lucky enough to have expert teaching in all dance genres with teachers that aim to inspire, encourage and build confidence whilst in a creative and fun environment. They also benefit from being able to use the best performing arts facilities in Essex. We currently hold classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Commercial, Musical Theatre, Acro and Body Conditioning. Classes at Performers College Juniors are limited in size, so that every student has the ability to fulfil their own potential and have individual attention from the teacher.
Classes are held Monday to Thursday evenings and Saturday daytimes. We hold regular exam sessions where our students can take I.S.T.D syllabus exams, ensuring that the correct dance technique, discipline and placement of movement are fully understood. Free work classes allow our students to develop freedom of expression and exploration of movement.
Performers College Juniors holds a bi-annual show in a local theatre as well as a bi-annual choreographic competition. We also offer many other performing opportunities through our 'Show Teams', including dance festivals and competitions, performances in and around London and many other prestigious venues. Performers College Juniors is an exciting and vibrant Performing Arts School and continues to grow and develop every year. We encourage you come and visit us to experience the buzz for yourselves.
