Stretch & Conditioning
Stretch & Conditioning exercises target your whole body, using lots of different muscles to strengthen, shape, and tone. They may combine several types of exercise, such as flexibility, strength, and resistance training. It is important for a dancer to build strength, flexibility, and coordination beyond what they naturally have. By engaging in a properly designed conditioning training program, dancers will progress at a faster pace, and be able to handle the strength demands of dancing longer, and with far less vulnerability to injuries.
